About this textContext & reading guide
The Khuddaka Nikāya gathers works of different kinds, including the Dhammapada, Sutta Nipāta, Udāna, Itivuttaka and poems of elder monks and nuns. “Minor” describes the traditional collection name, not its importance.
Its contents vary between Theravāda editions. The directory includes the usual fifteen books and the three additional works in the Burmese edition, with translations, external editions and remaining gaps identified for each.
